Through recovery oriented services, Freedom House Inc. empowers the chemically dependent person to live a sober, disciplined, and independent lifestyle, and to carry the message of recovery from alcoholism and drug dependency. As agents of change, our mission is to reunite families and cultivate strong and safe communities.

Freedom House, a New Jersey based non-profit statewide organization with facilities in Hunterdon, Mercer, Morris and Warren counties, is a national leader and an international model for the long term treatment of adult men and women with alcohol and drug addiction. We are a no-nonsense, highly structured, highly disciplined program. Residents are taught life skills and the value of giving back to the community. Freedom House provides room, board, substance abuse treatment services, life skills training and education, job seeking skills and assistance with job searching, all transportation to and from work, court appearances, etc. Our services also include an outpatient and intensive outpatient program for adult men and women who need additional support on their road to recovery. Our staff are all credentialed (LCADC or CADC) and provide individual, group and family sessions, case management including a medical liaison, and 12 - step recovery support meetings.
